Welcome to Kids Church!
Today our story is the Good Shepherd from John 10:1-10. The bible has lots of stories about sheep. I wonder if this story reminds you of any others?
Over the next few weeks we’ll be looking at some of the words and stories Jesus shared with his disciples before leaving earth (physically) and sending his Spirit. Our memory verse for May is –
“I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” John 16:33 (NIV)
Our video story time is from Godly Play – a style of storytelling which encourages interaction with the story and reflecting on ‘wondering’ questions. The story is told slowly, so you might like to get ready and make yourself comfortable before it begins.
This story also links the Good Shepherd story with the Communion story – which we are celebrating today. See the ‘Communion’ link on our service pages for the resources to celebrate Communion at home.
