Bible Story – God Works Through A Servant Girl

Our story this week is God Works Through A Servant Girl

You can find it in 2 Kings 5:1-14

We don’t know the name of the girl in the story, but we do that she trusts God and that God uses her faith (or trust in God) to help someone else.

Questions to Discuss

What is different about the servant girl’s attitude and Naaman’s attitude?
Why do you think God decided to help Naaman through a servant girl’s advice instead of another way?
What did each of these people discover about God?

Find – Play – Share

At Kids Church (In-person) we are making some prayer books for this term where we can write down lots of things to share with God including our favourite parts of the stories, what we discovered about God, questions we might have and other things we’d like to let God know about.

You can make one too.

A book with space to write in. You could use an exercise book, a scrapbook, a notebook or make a book from some scrap paper.
Check with Mum or Dad (or another grownup you trust) if you’re not sure or need help.

PLAY

Decorate your book’s cover.
Add some stickers, a colourful background, a special title or drawing.

SHARE

What is one thing about you that you would like to share with God? Write or draw about it on the first page.
You could also add your favourite part of today’s story, or something you discovered about God.
