Bible Story – David Serves Saul
You can read our story for today in 1 Samuel 24.
Saul was the king of God’s people, but everyone liked David because God had helped him beat Goliath. Saul was jealous of David and wanted to get rid of him. David kept doing what God wanted, even when Saul tried to hurt him – find out what happened in our story today.
Question to Discuss
What does this story show us about David? What does it show about how David trusted God?
Have you ever had someone be unkind to you? How might David’s story help you to respond?
