As groups approach the end of the NETWORK course, our hope is that group members are having fruitful conversations with their Connect Group leaders about what God has been teaching them about their spiritual gifts, personal style, & God-given passion for serving in the body of Christ. Hopefully you will come out of these interviews with concrete ideas about what steps you may like to take next. Remember, the aim of all this isn’t just to grow in knowledge, but to better serve God together, according to his plan and purpose.
Ever wondered how God has gifted you for ministry?
Serving God together is so important but some of us don’t feel confident to serve, or we don’t know where to start, or we are worried that once we get involved we’ll very quickly find ourselves overcommitted and even burnt out. As a church, we are committed to equipping and enabling people to serve out of the gifting and heart that God has given them, and to helping find a healthy balance between all areas of life including ministry, work, study, home and rest. ‘Network’ is a program we use to help us in this task…
Aim: That participants will gain a better understanding of their spiritual gifts, personal style, & God-given passion for serving in the body of Christ.
When: After 16th August, in one of our Connect Groups, in a 3 week or 6 week program (depending on the group). Most of our Connect Groups are opening up to extra participants to join them for the 3 or 6 weeks of this program.
Cost: $20, or $30 for a couple (includes participant’s handbook), but see Steve or Connect Group leader if cost is a barrier.
How do I sign up? See your Connect Group leader, or Margy Ridley who can tell you about the options for Connect Groups that you can join for the 3 or 6 weeks of the Network course.
Any questions? Don’t hesitate to ask Steve or Margy Ridley, or via the church office.
