Mission is always important, but May is that time of year when we traditionally focus on mission in a special way. To kick things off on the first Sunday in May we will have a Celebration Service, all together with a Missions focus. On that week we’ll be hearing from Muana and Villy in Northern Thailand, as well as Colin Lees about an upcoming trip. We’ll hear about an opportunity to pray that God would raise up more workers for the harvest, and to give to a special missions project. As the month progresses, we’ll be hearing from Nathan Reid about the work of GiA, from Martin and Maureen Borrows about an upcoming trip, from David Halder about the HELP children’s home in Bangladesh; and from Cathy Gravitis about ministry that ‘crosses barriers’. God’s love is big, and we can expect to be encouraged as we hear about the many different ways he is at work in his world, but also challenged as we consider his call on each of us to be participants in his mission of love to the world.
