This coming Sunday we begin a preaching series through the whirlwind adventure of the book of Acts, including story after story about God’s amazing work to spread the gospel through the early church. This is the beginning of our story, as the church today!
Maybe your Connect Group will choose to study Acts at the same time, either by discussing the passages as they’re covered in the sermons, or by using a Bible Study booklet, or some other approach. We’ll be taking breaks for Easter and May Missions Month and a few other services here and there, but the plan is to go through the whole book in 15 sermons, which will take us to the end of August!
Even then, with 28 chapters we still have a lot of ground to cover, which means the sermons will naturally have to focus on some parts more than others. So let me invite you to read ahead, so you can keep an eye on the whole story as it unfolds. We’ll let you know through the bulletin where to read for the upcoming week.
And pray that God would speak to us, challenge and inspire us, as we seek to partner with him in his mission to Carlingford and beyond!
